Jiu Jitsu Fundamentals (Technique/Drilling)
This class is designed for the novice practitioner (white-blue belts), but is open to students of all levels (purple-black belts). The Jiu Jitsu Fundamentals class will introduce students to the concepts and practices of applying the techniques learned in the Jiu Jitsu Combatives class. Students will learn how to dynamically drill techniques to become effective fighters in a combat situation.
The Jiu Jitsu Fundamental class will expand on the 36 Jiu Jitsu principles, concepts, and core techniques, including mount/guard techniques, side mount techniques, standing techniques, grips/grip defenses, headlocks/headlock defenses, throws, and takedowns.
The JIu Jitsu Fundamentals class is the blueprint for anyone interested in the sport or personal self-defense side of Jiu Jitsu, and is imperative for students of all levels.
Professor Lee recommends all beginner students start with the Jiu Jitsu Combative class and pair it with the Jiu Jitsu Fundamental class for the optimal training program.
All white belts must show proficiency in all techniques and test out with the professor to graduate to the intermediate/advanced classes.
