Intermediate Jiu Jitsu

Designed for students who currently hold a colored belt (purple-brown), the intermediate class will build on the foundation developed from the Jiu Jitsu Combatives and Fundamentals classes. Students will continue their skill development, advancing through intermediate concepts within mount & side mount techniques, guard & half guard techniques, back mount, leg locks, & standing techniques; introduction to Gi sparring and No-Gi sparring.

Students who wish to continue advancement in belt ranking must show proficiency in the 36 core techniques, proficiency in rank-appropriate techniques, and complete a test out with the professor for each belt rank.

Class Uniform:
Alternating weeks of APEX Gi and NoGi (Rashguard and Pants or Training Shorts).
